Fantastic Voyage with Whisper Charters
Whisper Charters offers a unique way to explore the Elkhorn Slough. The electric motor is soundless so we were able to get close to birds and marine life, as well as carry on a conversation. Captain Sean was fun and informative. And the addition of complimentary wine and other beverages was a pampering touch. As a person concerned with the health of the environment, the fact that the boat has no emissions was a serious plus. My friend who was visiting from Michigan and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and highly recommend it!

Leisurely and enjoyable afternoon
We enjoyed the visit to Elkhorn Slough very much. Both the wildlife and the natural history explanations were thorough and interesting. The boat was first rate, quiet and with fine viewing. Brian did a great job as skipper and guide and we would recommend this to all.

Great tour for families of all ages!
In November of 2017, I had the privilege to take a tour on Whisper Charters during the day with my 18-month year old who loved coloring and lounging around the boat, while I enjoyed the scenery and learning about the wildlife, marine mammals and birds on Elkorn Slough. For the first time, I viewed a group of sea otters resting peacefully on eelgrass and learned about several species of birds.
The boat was beautiful, comfortable and spacious even for an active toddler. The captain was very knowable, friendly and most accommodating. I took many photos to commemorate my experience. I thought I’d share a few so others can appreciate how amazing and family friendly the tours are on Whisper Charters. I highly recommend this tour to everyone of all ages!!!

Beautiful Boat Ride, Would Definitely Come Back
I went on a boat ride with Whisper Charters. As someone who doesn’t really like boat rides, I was worried that the trip would be uncomfortable. I was surprised that the trip was not only comfortable beyond belief, but the scenery was gorgeous! I loved watching the sunset as the seals were basking on the docks. It’s a great place to go for photographers, and a great place to host a celebratory event.

A very pleasurable morning trip up the Elkhorn Slough, including warm coffee on a chilly day. Lots of wildlife especially sea otters feeding. The Captain is very knowledgeable regarding wildlife, birds, topography, and environmental benefits. A wonderful way to spend a day learning about the surrounding habitat.
